About the Role
Assist experienced millworkers in the creation and installation of custom cabinetry and millwork projects.
Learn and apply woodworking techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials.
Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment under supervision.
Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure precise assembly and installation.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop skills and knowledge in millwork and cabinetry.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the preparation and finishing of materials, including sanding, staining, and varnishing.
Support the design and production teams in various tasks and projects.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking or carpentry is a plus.
Strong interest in woodworking, cabinetry, and millwork.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced craftsmen.
Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment is an advantage.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
